Have you logged onto the NEW IA-8 Ku bird at 89° West ?

There were at least 3 on-going news feeds (N.O. Disaster) and two test card
channels in MPEG-2 DVB, today. (09-03-05)

Check Lyngsat for starters.

Bye,
zzz

All live/local: some continuous and some intermittent
Satellite news feeds (Digital SNG) for WDSU Ch6; WESH; WBAL (Hearst-Argyle,
Wash, DC), possible others.

Plus CSM/UNC football today. NO CBS. Some MSNBC yesterday.

Don't know if it's live continuous but I found a WDSU newscast

12190V SR 3979

And I guess it's a backhaul of it

12179V SR 3979

Take care,

Is the ID slate still up? Have not been able to get anything on
IA 8 for the last two days. Did pick up some feeds on T6 Ku.

The two backhauls I listed above should be horizontal, not vertical.

The ID card is down. And the Globecast advertising channel is currently
only showing black, but the signal is there.

Still can't get it, however there was an analog feed on
Tr.10 and 20 (H) with a slate stating IA8 on it, so managed
to lock the position. This was at 12.45 pm Pacific time.
