Hi All,
I have a client, based in Dublin/Ireland is urgently look for a number
of Snr Lead Developers to work as part of a team developing
cutting-edge Windows TV solutions. There is also more Jnr roles for
candidates with 4 yrs similar experience. These are perm roles that I
am haveing difficulty with. So if you can have a look at the spec and

Lead Software Engineer
Minimum Requirements:
-A minimum of 8 years of software development experience on Windows,
in C or C++ (C# is a plus)
-A minimum of 2 years Senior Engineer or Technical Lead experience
with demonstrated work experience in the full cycle of shipping
commercial software products
-In-depth knowledge of at least one of the following technologies:
DVB-S, DVB-T, encoding systems for Analog TV, MPEG-2 playback or
capture, DVD layout/encosing systems, DirectShow, DirectX and
streaming

Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities include leading the design and development of
next generation television technologies based on new Windows operating
systems designs, interacting with senior engineers and architects to
assure multimedia architectural designs meet television requirements
and providing technical direction and ship-cycle process oriented
leadership for an established and highly motivated team.

Preferred Requirements:
-The candidate must have both strong architectural instincts and
practical object-oriented design skills. Knowledge of Windows XP
internals, Windows services and Windows Media and digital television
technologies is preferred.
-A BA/BS degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related technical
discipline
-Demonstrated ability to organize, coordinate work with other groups,
and effectively communicate in verbal and written form is essential.

Candidates must be immediately available and eligible to work in
Ireland
