Absolutely positively none whatsoever. There's still not a "hey,
commercials start here" flag, and if there is ever one, I imagine there
won't be a "hey, commercials end here" flag. At best, I imagine the
networks would throw in a "hey, commercials ended about 5 minutes ago"
flag. Without this, only human interaction can determine what is a
commercial and must go.

Every village has an idiot. He's ours. Most have plonked him, and are
content to let him ride his little bike around town collecting cans as long
as he doesn't block traffic.

I've actually given up on editing out commercials.... it's just too
time consuming. For programs that I really want to imporve, I simply
add a "Chapter mark" at the END of the commercial. This allows one to
quickly jump to the end of the commercial (next chapter) when viewing
the program.

Turner Classic Movies plays movies with no commercials.

Not entirely sure what this has to do with removing commercials from shows
that have them, but thank you for the information.

Coming in late here, but I remember that in Vietnam the troops *loved*
it when commercials were included with the programming relayed by the
nets to AFN. Commercials were a touch of home the troops really
missed. I don't know why it would be different now.

They can always FF through the commercials if they don't want to see
them. I bet they will want to, though.

Don't say the name! It might bring him back! He's been MIA for at
least a couple months. Several others have attempted to fill his shoes,
but they've only been poor attempts.

His mother probably cut off his internet and he can't get the neighbor's via
WiFi from his room in her basement.
