I have DirectTv and my Tivo hooked up together. I live in Florida but I
am using a NY address for DirectTv for personal reasons which means I
don't get local channels. However, I have an antenna set up and I get
local channels thru there. My set up is Dtv is going through input 1,
playstation 2 on input 2 and the antenna is just plugged into the back.
If I wanna watch a local channel I just take it off the inputs and put
it on regular tv. Is there anyway whatsoever to get tivo to record
local channels? Or will I need to dig out the Vcr for this? Any input
would be appreciated. TIA

You should be able to record local channels off the antenna.
Just leave the DirecTV receiver as is (set for NY) but set the
TiVo for Florida + DirecTV. Just be sure that the Channels You
Receive list is made accurate.
