Do any of the Replay units receive the Channel guide
via wireless G?

Do any PVR's use this method to update the channel guide?

Thanks

Any 4xxx or 5xxx unit will if you add a wireless bridge (a wireless
router should be usable that way). This should work fine for the guide
but may not work as well as a wired ethernet connection for streaming.

You can connect the RTV's wired Ethernet port to an external 11g
bridge.

TiVo should be rolling out 11g USB adapter support before the end of
the month if they stick to their announced plans.

The Xbox MN-740 game adaptor works very nice as well.
http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/ [...] px?pid=015
It is wireless G and streams video well at med quality.
The adaptor needs an Xbox to be configured and this takes just seconds
to complete.
Once configured you no longer need the Xbox, all settings are saved in
non-volatile memory and shall remain configured even when the adaptor
is removed from power.
Look around in a few Target stores as these MN-740 adaptor had been on
clearance for $20 and under.
Otherwise just purchase a Buffalo or Belkin G router cheap after
rebates.
You can find plenty of help here along with info links
