For a while now my upgraded 3030 (120GB) began to make a high pitch whining
noise (HD bearing going bad). I was Fry's Electronics a few days ago, and
ran across a Maxtor 120GB-5400RPM for $59. I decided to buy it to swap my
current 120GB. After removing the old 120GB drive, I noticed the warranty
is still in force until March 2005. I'm currently sending in my old drive
for RMA.

I also saw some 160GB 5400RPM drives for $79.
