Limited Connectivity

Having a few problems as of tonight.....so far the only thing I can guess is it snowed!

On a serious note, the problem is my wireless connection keeps dropping. Same across multiple PCs as well. I did a clean boot on one and the problem still exists (was going to do this regardless). Rebooted my modem, and the problem is there still. Rebooted my router and it was fixed for maybe 2-5 minutes tops (same every time). I've reseted it to factory defaults and still the same problem, I've also tried changing the security to no encryption, and changed the frequency several times with no luck in hopes something new was interfering.

The only thing that seems to work is rebooting the router (doing it from the broswer works as well). Looking at it (and the modem) I can't find anything visible that would indicate a problem (no lights go out). I'm almost positive it's the router though. Not sure what else to do other than purchase a new router at this stage. My only other guesses is that a wire needs to be replaced somewhere? Any last minute ideas would be great!

Taking online classes so this might be a forced upgrade Thanks in advance everyone.


-EDIT- Wired connection also doesn't work but unplugging the router seems to work as well for a short time. Also seems a reboot isn't the only solution now, a quick change in the router settings (any of them) and it starts working for a moment again. Starting to think the router is going though.
