Hello all!

For G router, my research took me to WRT54GL. Seems to work very well, supporting DD-WRT.

For N router, I don't see "the" general good option (around $80). Some prefer ASUS RT-N16, some LINKSYS E3000.

I was going to buy the WRT54GL, but I think I'll put some more money and get a N.
Which one you suggest? For now I'll use it as a repeater to extend my roommate access point, but later as my own N access point.

If you have any other suggestion, will be much appreciated!
Thank you!

But this one is not DD-WRT supported... I'm looking for a N router which I can install DD-WRT to expand it's functionality!

just as XTheAliEnAtoR recommended in his list of 2, on of them the ASUS RT-N56U.
I just bought one today, works good so far, and has built in Bridge which I used to bridge with my Linksys WRT610N to take load off.
My routers typically last less than a year due to more than 12 devices connected to it.
Home routers can't handle severe load and overheats and dies within 2yrs.
I have a fistful of them.
