Hello
I have an Microsoft MN700 wireless router and cannot connet to my Android tabblet /.
Because my wireless router is about 8 years old , the clerk at the store says that I need a new router .. Is this possible?

make sure you are using WPA wireless mode?

usually new devices like cellphones and tables work best with N-wireless routers

this router is actually a version of an ASUS WL500G which uses a crippled version of WindowsCE.
If you are tech-savvy, you could try to upgrade the Firmware to DD-WRT and see if that will work.
