How much of a difference would you expect to see if you were using a USB 2.0 wireless adapter vs. a PCI-E wireless adapter?

I wouldn't expect any difference, and haven't ever noticed any, if they both have similar features (e.g. wireless N) and antennae (or you have a strong wireless signal where you will use the computer).
