Im trying to hook up a wireless card to a desktop, the disk downloaded but it wont connect to the internet. CPU has no ethernet outlet so im using a plug in devise for wireless, no connection thus far?

Yes, you can put a wireless pci card or usb wireless device in the machine, which I would guess is running windows xp? You need to install the wireless adapter driver and then set the gateway address to that of the wireless router, set the OS to automatically get an address from the router, and enter the security code.
