Adding a new PC to the network application

Is it possible to create an application that allows you to add a new machine to the network and how??

yes would be the short answer would not be to hard but would need more infomation

could be done with simple script or a more complex program with with lots of thing you never need to use

what os you want it to work on and do you just want to conect to a network or a domain as well, dhcp or statip ip random pc name all need to be taken in to consideration
