Hello,
why do I have to reset my router all the time. I have a linksys 2.4 G router, cable access. There are a couple of Iphones, an I pad, a Mac book and a HP with windows 7.

I had a Linksys WRT54G router that used to have this problem. 'G' technology is outdated and the router in question is aging. Having to reset the router on a regular basis may indicate that the firmware needs to be updated, or the router itself needs to be replaced.

I replaced my Linksys WRT54G router with an 'N' router, Linksys E1000. Much better performance and reliability. In use for over 1 year. Easy installation.

I bought my Linksys E1000 refurbished for about $25. Recently I have seen it for less at Newegg.

Good luck.
