Hello,
I just got a used laptop from a teacher of mine as a gift. It's a small Asus computer. And I was told that it should work fine, but every time I try to connect it to my wireless internet at home, it shows limited connectivity. It does this anywhere I go that has wireless internet. My sister's laptop, however, connects without a problem. Can anyone tell me what might be the issue, and how to solve itt?
This "limited or no connectivity" message means that you are not connected to the network with the correct password. And also that the wireless network is not configured.
Reset the wireless connection by going to Control Panel, Networks & Sharing Center, and setup a new connection. Restart the computer.
Good luck!

It is possible that the internal wireless cared is defective.
If this is the case, try plugging in a USB wireless adapter in one of the laptop's USB ports - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6833124327 (I have 2 of these on 2 different desktops; working fine)
