who makes the router?

The most common way is in your web browser type either 192.168.2.1 or 192.168.1.1. Should bring up your router as long as you know the admin and password for it. From there go to the security tab and look at the pass phrase / password. This is just a quick reply without further info :) Hope it helps.

oops, forgot to add. Make sure you plugged directly into the router via ethernet cable.
