Hi, I have a Netgear N300 wireless adapter for my laptop but the wireless connection to my Technicolour Tg587n drops out every 2-3 mins.
I don't know if the Netgear adapter is compatible to my wireless router?

It should be compatible, do you near a number of other wireless networks? You will likely see many (if broadcasting SSID) in your system tray wireless icon. If so, consider changing your wireless channels; use inSSIDer and THIS GUIDE to optimize your channel selection.

Also be aware of any strong interference sources nearby (wireless phones, microwaves and the like).
