My connection has gone from 2 mbps to 0.200/s !! all i remember is that i updated service packs automatically i have windows xp service pack 3 any advises?

also i get this error message on utorrent and windows "10053 Software caused connection abort"

There is a lot of things that can cause issues with a network.

If you're using P2P, make sure no other device on your network is using P2P also. A lot of people who install P2P tend to forget to close their app, so it runs in the background causing congestion.

Also, depending on your ISP, they may be throttling your connection. I recommend using I2P Anonymous Network (www.i2p2.de) if using P2P programs.
