Resetting Up a DIR-655a Dlink router

So, my router was reset, i.e. all the information and configuration was wiped out of all. The most important portion that is gone, is my password for my wireless network. The only way I know of creating a password for it, is by resetting it up with the CD that it originally came with. However, the set up doesn't work and it always fails when it tries to see my router.

Any ideas?
