Hello, was having significant difficulty in connecting a dell laptop to this router. the router "saw" the laptop and would connect with excellent signal, but the receive Qop would be 22 or less and laptop was unable to navigate anywhere on line... tried changing routers internal setting channels from 1-11 on the 2.4 ghz side without success. I finally, as a last ditch effort decided to reconfigure the router as an access point which worked for both the desktop and the new laptop. my problem , now, is that i am unable to access router internal program anymore through 192.168.2.1 address browser. Is there another alternate way or address to access the router's internals?

From a connected computer type http://router.

edit: another way to find its new address is to look into the DHCP assignment table for what is now acting as your router; alternately you can reset the Belkin to factory default by depressing the reset button.
