N draft router recommendation

Forum General Networking : Routers & Gateways N draft router recommendation

I keep picking N draft routers with major flaws. Trouble is I can't seem to find any with good reviews. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good solid N draft router. Must be able to work well with mixed drafts b/g/n, good with heavy loads (including printing) and as a bonus I would like for it to be dd-wrt friendly.

Thanks in advance.

A printer, three desktops, and six laptops, plus various misc. smart devices.

Right now my top contender is the N600 Netgear, WNDR3800.

i had good success with the Netgear 3700 and it is DD-WRT ready.

based on Newegg feedback there seems to be some problem with the 3800

Well that's unfortunate, we just went with the 3800 today. Although in all fairness, I have read bad review about the 3700, and about any and all N routers since the draft came out.

I have had three N routers, and all of them are little better than door stops. Its seriously frustrating.

I had a D-link, that had all the ports on it go bad, I had a Belkin that wouldn't stay connected for anything... so for the best one I have had is a different Netgear that constantly drops connections, and causes additional PC's to constantly try and connect twice.
