Hello,
I have a router that i want to connect to my direct tv box. The router only has ethernet cables on the back and no room for a phone line. how can I connect the phone line to the router?

Does your DirectTV box not have an Ethernet port, but only an RJ-11 connector (phone line)?

You cannot make an Ethernet connection over a single twisted pair (phone cable) as it takes two pairs. And your router requires Ethernet connections and would not function with an RJ-11 connection.
