I have comcast internet. I have the modem they sent me which i hooked up a desktop computer. i just got a laptop and don't know how to hook it up so both can be on the net at the same time. i have a wireless dlink router and a linksys wireless access point that a friend gave me. can i use any of these to hook both computers up to the internet at the same time?

Yes, if the router also has LAN ports or the desktop has a wireless card. If the Comcast modem only has one LAN port then connect it to the WAN port of a router and the desktop to an LAN port of the router, and then finally attach the laptop either to another LAN port or the wireless feature of the router.

What model routers do you have?
