Locked out of router configuration

i recently enabled bridged mode on my first router/modem and now it seems that i cannot access the configuration with the normal 192.168.0.1 address. Is there anyway i can access the configuration excluding the hard reset?

What model is the router?

Some allow access with an address such as http://www.routerlogin.com

Also, try typing "ipconfig" into your command prompt window and look at the gateway ip address to see if it is actually 192.168.0.1, also if it is connected to another router, you can look in that router's address allocation list to see if it is listed in there.
