We have bought Cisco Modem and Access point for company where i work, that job is mine setting them but there is a problem. do i must join with Lan cable to my Access Point? or i can leave it single with electric connecty only? and we need new splitter anyone can tell me good splittler model santral technicians said ours is really old?

I think you are looking for a Network Switch not a splitter. How many ports do you need?

can you list the Cisco model numbers so we know what devices we are talking about?
