Hello,

I have added a wireless network on my computer but it isn't visible from the networking connections drop down. Why?

Did you configure the wireless router by creating a Name (SSID) and Password (WEP/WPA2)?

A very long time ago....and somehow now I can't authenticate to it. So, I thought I could create a new network and SSID and see it come up on my network connection drop downs but they don't. Maybe I need a new router? It is about 5 years old.

Oh and I'm working from Windows Server 08 R2 which is a bit finicky. But my W7 laptop seems to have the same issue.
