I am using Beetel 450TC1 router with my MTNL Triband (India) internet connection. The router is connected to my PC through an ethernet port. The other devices (laptops and cell phones) connect to the router through WiFi.
As I usually download movies through my PC (connected to ethernet) and it hogs a lot of bandwidth, I want to give my PC (or P2P applications) the lowest priority. Thus, when multiple devices are connected and the PC is downloading a huge file, the other users should not get a poor bandwidth/ speed.
I accessed the QoS settings page, but it has a lot of fields and I dont know the meaning of most of them. Does anyone know how can I achieve the goal mentioned above?
The link for the the QoS settings page is at the end of the post for reference for those who do not have such a router and don't know what the settings page looks like. (It's an 11 kb rar file)
I tried searching for QoS settings help for Beetel 450TC1 on a lot of forums, but didn't find anything conclusive.
