Hey everyone,
I've been thinking for a while now about creating a new website. It would be a technology based website, including video games, mobile technology, computing hardware etc. A broad range of topics. The website would just be for the fun of it, for the love of technology. I'm not in this for money or free stuff.
I was hoping for some partners who I could run the website with. No one would be working for a profit, but for the enjoyment of posting our own articles and working together to build a fun website with lots of different opinions. I was hoping for writers not just from England (where I live), but from all over. I will front the cost of server hosting and domain names.

Every writer would get there own speciality section of the site. It might feature writers blogs, I don't know yet. Just trying to see whether anyone would be interested in starting a website, who enjoys writing articles, reviews etc.

If the website did eventually turn a profit then of course I would split it evenly between everyone who is a part, but I very much doubt this.

Ideas, comments, suggestions? :)

Oh great, I'm trying to generate interest from several possible posters, would you like to help me do that? I want to get some interest in this site around the forums before we launch anything.

What would you like to write about? Know anyone that might be interested in joining a team of tech writers who all want to club together and make a great site?

I had considered doing something like this in the past.

The problem is that whilst it's all for fun you really want visitors reading the content. At the end of the day you want someone to read what your wrote right?

With so many tech sites around these days including Anandtech, Hexus and of course Tom's Hardware, you are up against stiff competition.

That being said, I'd also be happy to contribute. I'm a web developer who's also knowledgeable about hardware so I can write about a variety of topics.
