Hello, my name is Shirley. I work from home online. I have U-Verse 2 wire modem, but my applications do not function properly, I was told that I needed a router to bridge the 2 wire modem for my applications to work.

Question: what modem and router can I use to bridge AT&T U-verse, and how would I accomplish that?

What applications are working correctly? VPN or other network related software?
What are your internet speeds? Your speeds might be to slow for the software.
Adding a Router to the network won't do anything.
