Hello,
I'm trying to click the desktop icon because I inserted the game "The Sims 3 Generation" and this has become really weird , it never would cause this problem. It just started 2 months ago , i'm dying to see what it is. I keep clicking the desktop icon -- even double clicking it. Please, tell me what it is. It works on the rest but on the game icon it won't...

Maybe the Icon is not linked to the actual exe.
Check it's properties and send us a screenshot of it.

Uninstall the game... reboot...install it again.

maybe the shortcut does not point on the game any longer.
can you open it via right-click "open"?
