Sounds like it is turned off.

Okay, all kidding aside. Can you give us more information? With the laptop attached to wall power, when you push the power-on button, does anything happen at all? Any lights come on or go off, whirring noises, fans?

This could be anything from no power to a broken screen to a failure of the motherboard to the lord knows what - we need more information. We can take it a step at a time; try the basic experiments and let us know what you see.
