Hello,

I'm having a problem hearing sound from my headphones (Turtle Beach Earforce X12s). I have Realtek HD Audio manager installed and my motherboard is ASUS Maximus IV Gene Z/Gen 3.

I have a Bluetooth external speaker setup, wireless. My headphones are plugged into the rear I/O panel of my motherboard (Mic in, Line out, USB).

When I disable the Bluetooth connection, the RealTek Audio manager Playback screen shows the streaming signal going to Realtek Digital Output (Optical) and the Bluetooth Speakers in Ready status. The headphones don't show up in the Playback device list and I get no sound to them.

Also, Windows 7 does not list my headphones in Device Manager or in the View Devices and Printers screen. There was no software with the headphones.

Do I need to change something in the audio manager? Do I need to download a driver for the headphones? Do I need to change something in BIOS? So many questions, answers appreciated.
