Have HP photosmart plus Printer and scan to comuter or computer control scan wil not work.
After several hours of updates and analysis programs I find the the WIA service file will not turn on even trying to start manually.
Is there a patch to fix this?

Sorry, what?

Check and make sure that your "Print Spooler" is set to start up automatically whenever you start your pc.

Hi :)

Have you installed the HP drivers for Windows 7 ?

Windows 7 can make most printers work without drivers but the scanners wont....
