My laptop will not install windows 7 sp1. Every time i try to use windows update to install sp1 it fails. I have tried to find fixes online and so far none have worked. This is the only update I have ever had trouble with. Im running 64 bit. I just tried again to make sure it didn't randomly start working right before i post this. I got an error code 800B0100. I believe that I have already used the system readiness tool and that didn't work either. I also looked into a manual update, but the file names on the download page were too confusing for me to find the one i actually need. Thanks for your time and help.

Thank you emerald. That worked for me perfectly. The file names on that page just left me confused with which one I actually needed to download. Thank you so much for helping me with my problem.
