Hello,
i just bought a refurbished laptop from ebay and it wouldn't connect to my wireless, it asked for my password, but stopped me 8 characters in (i have a 15 character network key) stating that there were too many characters....?! so, i started investigating and noticed something else....i noticed that on my other laptop, i am connected via band 802.11n but PROBLEM IS that my new laptop only has the option of 802.11a, 802.11b, and 802.11g....no option for 802.11n on it. is there any way that i can manually create the band or any way around it?

An 802.11g wireless adapter should connect to a 802.11n router.
