Restore XP Boot Screen to Original

Archived from groups: microsoft.public.windowsxp.customize (More info?)

I did this and the screen still shows the image.

I added /noguiboot and the boot.ini file and the XP boot screen is turned
off, but right after the boot screen process the image shows, there must be
another setting for images to appear after the XP boot screen?

Your email is incorrect I have tried to contact you with 5 different variants but with no success could you please post your findings here please or correct your email?

I have the opposite my boot screen won't change from default XP no matter what I do. If I select nobootgui from msconfig it still appears. I have edited ntoskrnl & boot.ini but to no avail. I have installed tuKernel and tried that but nothing changes the boot screeen from default XP. It is doing my head in. Any help gratefully received.
