I am considering either a Zoostorm i7 7873-0239 or Acer Predator, both with nVidia GTX460 card. What advice?

Provide links to both the machines you are looking at and ask specific questions. Also try posting in the correct section of the forum, this is not a technical area of the forums and you will get better replies in the correct sections.

Have a look at the spec you are looking at and compare it to the Toms builds as these tend to be very good on the price performance ratio and offer a good starting block for consideration. Both the machines you list seem to be about the £1k mark so the $1000 build would be a good starting point and then upgrade from there.
