Crossfire requires one bridge (between the 2 cards); there are 2 sets of bridge connectors on AMD GPUs to allow tri-fire. Your power supply is more than adequate.

Some cards require 2x connections.

both my 5870 & friends 5830's both need 2 crossfire bridge cables in order to enable Xfire.

if both cards have 2x CFX connectors you will need 2 cables.

2 way CF = 1 bridge

3 way CF = 2 bridge

4 way CF = 3 bridge

Same goes for SLI

you only need 1 but putting 2 does hurt either.

Most the time, people don't have issues, but sometimes it will cause weird problems. It's best to leave it off.
