Radeon 6950 inf file error

Every time I try to update my 6950's catalyst driver I get an error concernin the Inf file not being found.

I have tried completely uninstalling every thing to do with the driver and reinstalling but no luck, I have also reset bios settings and tried that way still no luck.

I have been having this problem for quite a long time, I mean everything runs fine but to get smooth fram rates oin games or while working in 3ds max I have to uninstall and reinstall the driver this is taking the actuall piss out of my life and career.

anyone please???? this problem is stoping me from doing my coursework its taking the actuall pis out of my life! please help!
