Hi Everyone,
I am a new to the community and most things techie, Sooooo, please bear with me if i do not use the correct lingo.

Now that I have that disclaimer out the way ergo my issue. I would like to use a 30-32" TV as a pc monitor as well.

What's the best way to do said?

As a pc monitor, it will be used for working from home which requires me to have anywhere from 12+ windows from 9+ programs open and running simultaneously.

I am not a gamer, I just want to have the capability to have as many windows maximized and tiled at the same time.

When I am not working I will be using the TV to .... watch TV.

I anxiously await your reply(ies).

"What's the best way to do said?" I do not understand what you want.

If you are asking if you can use a TV as a monitor, the answer is yes( i use mine, a 32"samsung).

To use it you link your TV to your PC with HDMI or "VGA". I recommend HDMI because the quality is higher. If your video card does not have native HDMI use/buy an adapter from DVI to HDMI.

If you want a recommendation buy a Samsung 5 series LED TV. It's not expensive and it is of good quality.

When you want to watch TV just change the signal source with your remote.

EDIT after the below: Still a 32" is not too large to enjoy the screen even at close range without having problems because of big pixels. I think it is an advantage to have a bigger screen than a small 22" at 1080p. But that's personal preference.

Unfortunately, the physical size of the screen means absolutely nothing. At best your TV is 1920x1080 pixels, while a monitor of 22" can have the exact same resolution. Most programs, windows, etc, require a minimum amount of pixels in order to display everything. The physical size of the windows will be increased on the TV, but also the sharpness of image will be greatly reduced because the same number of pixels is stretched over a much, much greater area.

In the end, if you want more workspace on a single screen, you'll need to go with a larger resolution like 2560x1440 or 2560x1600.

Now, perhaps I'm slightly misunderstanding here and you actually want to run the PC monitor and the TV at the same time for dual monitors. This is fine, but you will need a discrete graphics card, as integrated generally doesn't have more than a single output. AMD cards allow at least up to 3 monitors on a single card (and as many as 6 in some cases) while Nvidia cards are limited to just 2 monitors per card.
