Nvidia doesn't make any low end cards worth purchasing

AMD cards are actually better than nVidia cards on the low end because they use less power and provide more performance.

Based on what's available at Newegg, the most powerful low profile AMD card is the Radeon HD 6670 for $85 after rebate.

As for nVidia the most powerful low profile video card you can get is either the GT 430 or the GT 520. Both are selling for $54 after rebate.

See following link for some benchmarks. Since the Radeon HD 6670 can easily defeat a GeForce GT 440, you know it can beat the GT 430 which is not even listed.

What about the GT 520? Well if you click the following link you will see that it is slower than the GT 430. The review includes the older AMD Radeon HD 5670. In general, the newer Radeon HD 6670 provides 10% - 15% better performance than the HD 5670; it varies from game to game.

If you definitely want to stick with nVidia, then the GT 430 is the card to get.

I think the biggest GPU you can get in a low profile card is a 6670 but don't quote me on this. I just haven't found any low profile cards on any higher one's. Another problem is your CPU might bottle neck with this card. Agian Don't quote me.

I have had both answers on this card. It is on the line of could and could not. Thats why I say "don't quote me" But here is a link to a card or you can serch there for yourself. Good luck on this.

Well the fastest low profile card would be the 6750.
