YO! well, ive just recently flashed my HIS Iceq X 2gb 6970. i wanted to unlock the shaders and upgrade the default clocks from 800mhz to 880mhz. it seems that i successfully unlocked the shaders, but the default clocks and other things such as texture and filter fillrate stayed default of that of a 6950.. :??:

help is appreciated, thanks!

Here is a photo of what i am talking about, the first photo i found on the net because i forgot to screenshot mine before hand :D

looking at the pic you surely have the extra shaders, just overclock it with msi after burner or something like that to the settings of a stock 6970

Thanks for the reply! i was just wondering if the pixel and texture fillrate makes a difference? because my 6950 has default clocks for both of them
