asus p6t
i7 930
12 gig ram
gtx 480
xion 1000w psu
2x wd 1 tb raid 0
win 7 ultimate

currently building

asus rampage iv extreme
3930k
16 gig corsair vengence 7 8 8 24
thermaltake tpg 1200w
256 gig crucial ssd
2x 600gig velociraptor
win 7 ultimate


ok my question is

i have a evga 2gig 560 soc card already

should i keep the 560 and get a 2nd to sli or go with the gtx 3g 580 classified
or should i sell the 560 or replace my gtx 480 with it

any help would be helpful

Sell the 560! The GTX480 is more powerful and the new build could use the GTX580 and another one down the road. Just a warning if you do not already have it the TT PSU is not the best choice! http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.p [...] 5&reid=243

Well the GTX 580 would be better than the 480, because overall performance is better. and just do like he said, get another down the road. and yes tt isnt best for psu's in the world. they are ok but i recommend corsair

ok cool sounds like ill stick with the 480 in the old system and get the 580 for the new system

ty for the advice on psu, i have it all but not out of boxes yet, think ill send back the psu and get the corsair gold AX 1200
