Hello,
i bought a vanity light which my wife wants to move around so she wants me to attach a plug. there is a white wire, black wire and bare copper wire. if i hook it up to a plug, where do i connect the bare copper wire?

Connect it to a green screw which goes to ground or just to the metal case of the light fixture. Tony/Master Electrician
