I just installed a new Dell Inspiron 560 with Windows 7. When I turn the monitor on this message displays in the center of screen and then disappears: auto select(analog). Is this an error message or is something wrong with my hook-up? I can access and do everything. Any ideas?

It's just letting you know what type connection it found to the computer.

My #1 monitor shows HDMI and my #2 monitor shows DVI when I start Windows because that is the connection types I have set it up to use. If your monitor and video card supports DVI or HDMI you should get the proper cable and switch to one of those connection types, the picture will be greatly improved.
