Occasionally, when a thread gets closed or declared "solved", the orange or blue flag remains a strong blue or orange instead of a faded version.

The flag means that you are tracking that particular thread. Though, tracking is something we'd like to revamp at some point in the future.

I know what the flags mean. However, they don't always fade when you view a thread. Most of the time, they do, but even then, I've run into 2 threads, closed and solved threads, where the flag never dims no matter what I do. On my 0 to 8 bug severity scale I use where 8 is the worst, this ranks as a 1, very minor. Thus, it's not important.
