  1. What graphics settings are you playing at? Also, what resolution?

    ultra settings 1600-1024
  3. Raids tend to chunk down no matter what, and wow isn't exactly a well optimized game engine.
Plus most FPS loss in Wow is purely Addons, all damage meters and stat recorders take a huge toll on wow's FPS, I know for a fact on my old box (1090T X6 @3.6 , 16gb ram, and 2x 5970), with Damage meters enabled (and scrolling combat text) raids would bomb down to 20-30fps, with them disabled i would average 70fps
  4. You need to overclock, even though i don't play mmorpg people have said more people i guess you guys call them raids? Can lag down a system. Basically overclock your cpu and you will be fine.
  5. ^+1 You def need to overclock that cpu
  6. Overclocking helps with everything... am i right? huh huh :D "nudge nudge"
  7. It helps with WoW. My OCed i5 2500k to 4.3 GHz isn't dropping below 40 fps in 25 man raids :)
  8. ^this :D
  9. Also forgot to mention one more thing, and I noticed myself. Running it in fullscreen improves FPS. If I ran in windowed, I drop to even 20s :)
  10. Overclock that cpu, I overclocked mine to 3.7GHz and did not go further only because I wanted to keep memory at 1033MHz (increased cpu base frequency to 172 and decreased memory multiplier to 6x)?
