Forum Forum Feedback : Site Bug Reports Preventing flooding

Tom's Guide attempted to prevent me from flooding by not allowing me to post more than 3 messages in three minutes:

There's a bug with this feature, however: it only works if I'm viewing comments to the news articles on the forum. I can post as many messages as I like if I enter news comments for the same article from the front page. I wouldn't report this, since it's a useful workaround for flame wars, but it stops spam bots, as well, and I hate them. So please take not.

The news article commentary section has always been a little wonky. But good to note this difference in the flood protection element.
