With an i5 2500k and a gtx 560ti 448 core, will I be able to play games like Mass Effect 3, Skyrim, SWTOR, and others at max settings with an fps at 45+?

It may be a dumb question, but im new to this stuff :)

oh really? Wow I thought I'd have to spend like 70 bucks more or something if I wanted that.

I forgot to mention I wanted to play at 1920 x 1080 resolution. i dont know if that changes anything

Well, since you only want 45+ frames then you should be fine. I am like you, I don't care about the magic 60 FPS, all I need is above 30 and smooth gameplay.

Plus, Skyrim is more CPU intensive is some areas and your i5 should tear that apart.

well hey, I wouldn't mind 60 fps lol.

But yeah, anything below 45 fps gets annoying. As long as its higher than that I'm happy I guess. I can always overclock
