Forum Graphic & Displays : Graphics Cards Benq M2700HD DVI recognition to now a Generic Non-Pnp Monitor?

Not sure what's going on but at one time my comp would recognize my Benq M2700HD monitor, literally with full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution. Then one day I turned it on its now a Generic Non-Pnp Monitor. I have no idea why. I went to the Benq website to grab the driver but it states that it's up to date.

I need full HD and I don't understand how this is possible. It recognizes it fine via HDMI, but I prefer the DVI connection. Please help!!!

ı solved ıt. i went through the control panel of the video card. nevertheless its still showing as a Generic monitor. it used to recognize the monitor as a BenQ via DVI. this ı will never know.

Did you upgrade the Graphics cards drivers recently ? This could have been the cause.
