I purchased an Asus Geforce 550 TI Graphics Card about a week ago. I downloaded GPU-Z to measure the temperture of the GPU because I was curious. On the Windows desktop my GPU is running at around 35 degrees. I was just wondering if this was normal or not? As if my CPU was running at this Idle I wouldn't be best please.
35 is normal for idle, with some internet or video usage it should be in the low 40's, and gaming you will see it reach as high as 85c in some situations
Hmm okay thanks for your help. I'm just getting a little annoyed because Skyrim seems to begin to lag after about an hour of play, and I think it may be due to heat.
